Holy tamale!!! Is this huge creature coming after me?
Well, I was minding my own business in the garden today and I was about to turn into scaredy cat when I saw these HUGE shadows creeping up on me but after confronting the creature, I found that it was only MAMA, taking a picture and GETTING IN THE WAY, as usual and so I shouldn’t have been scared at all.
So my small spark for today is this: Check out those shadows you feel are sneaking up on you sometimes and keep your head about you and bring a bit of logic into your uncertainty and you will probably find that there is NOTHING to be afraid of, it’s just a shadow.
I did suggest that mama MOVE out of the sun so that she could end up with a decent photo.
For a change.
But those shadows were pretty formidable…
Loulou, how many times have I allowed my shadow to infiltrate a wonderful cat image? TOO MANY!
Donc, mama just has to keep OUT of her own way!
That’s good advice, Loulou. Shadows may seem scary…but they aren’t.
Oui, we agree…sometimes we just look too fast without thinking what it might be and usually it’s benign and friendly, like the shadow of mama…
Great advice, Loulou. Lovely pic with you and your Shadow mama.
Merci, Militza, but of course mama was BLOCKING my sun bath…I finally got her to move over a bit.
Great spark. I am glad nothing was after you. XO
Well, I’ve heard it said that one can be afraid of one’s own shadow, haha, but mine is pretty small.
Helen Keller said “Keep your face to the sun and you cannot see the shadows.” Which is true, but sometimes if the sun is shining right in your eyes you need to turn around so you can see better. Everything is a tradeoff…
Wise, wise words, Ms Mary. Plus, one get two views!
