Well, everyone in this house is jumping for joy since the Roma won over Lazio in the Olympic Stadium in what is called the Derby—thus ensuring their chance to be in Champion’s League (hey, do I know what that is? well, YES, I mean I watch soccer all the time, too, don’t you remember?)
And I love my Roma team, even if they have done some strange things on the field this season, but tonight they pulled themselves together and scored their wining second point to break the tie in the last minutes of the game.
So, being aware that not all of you out there give a farthing about 1. the Roma and 2. soccer in general, I’ll cut this short and move on to more worldly things.
But if you’re a soccer fan, heads up for the rest of the season because I think the Roma has some tricks up its collective red and yellow sleeves. And they won over a team who had had an extra day of rest thanks to a date change from Sunday to Monday made by a man everyone detests, Lotito! He seems to get his way whenever he wishes and no one seems to be able to combat him, bully that he is and powerful. What a schmuck.
I’m off to dreamland. Mama gave me some valerian thingy (Beaphar calming drops) that is supposed to take away fear of large, noisy, rocking ships, and I’ll report on that if it works. Mama loves it and she does not get anything from the company. She just likes the product.
Something’s working….zzzzzzzz.
So how are the drops working for you, Loulou? Marcus is extremely hyper but they help him a bit. At least he hasn’t been swinging from the chandelier we don’t have while grass is trying to grow on his soccer field.
Well, my drops worked pretty well and I managed to do the boat thing but I still threw up once. Just a little. Mama hadn’t fed me much (thank heaven) on purpose. But I’m sure glad Marcus is responding to them. Those chandeliers don’t come cheap!
