We kitties are going to vote next time! We’ll get your rights and freedom back!!!
1. __The new president’s term is not complete until __the “inauguration”……..perhaps our present government can keep us sane and hopeful for a month or two longer…..
2. I __plan to __make mama start working on getting her spirit and positive thinking back…
3. Keeping in touch with our blogger friends, family and loved ones everywhere__ is my dream __after what has just happened in our country.
4. I wish I could remove _ANYTHING ABOUT TRUMP AND HIS DANGEROUS CRONIES__ from my daily routine.
Well, that about says it, right? Courage, dear friends. We are going to need LOTS of that.
I guess we can all ponder Thanksgiving…the list of thanks has grown shorter, alas.
Run, sweet turkeys, RUN! There’s a really BIG one coming to get you and you do NOT want to be on his table.!
(Maybe we’ll go vegetarian this year…)
I went vegetarian long ago (for health, heart trouble) and there is so much good stuff for us people. You kitties have to eat meat, but it’s not so good for me.
Keep praying is all I can say.
Yep, oui, keep the faith. Kamala’s words: don’t throw up your hands, roll up your sleeves.
A very uneasy feeling in so many ways …
Well, the feeling is over. SO be it. And that south Texas turned to Trump is unbelievable. They will soon see that prices are not coming down, that promises were only for self-interest. As usual.
The Lady says it’s going to be a tough 4 years coming up and I’m going to do whatever I can to keep her happy. ~Murphy
Oui, Murphy, and anything you do will do that!!
Loulou I guess we all just need to hope for the best even though we feel very “rough around the edges” right now. We have no choice really. BUT in the meantime, we have TURKEY DAY to look forward to then Christmas and I plan to spend a lot of time UNDER the tree having “tree naps” !!!
Hugs, Teddy
A PERFECT PLAN, smart Teddy. Maybe I will come nap with you every now and then. Maybe bring a friend….
t was in this context that Abraham Lincoln wrote the following memorandum on Aug. 23, 1864:
This morning, as for some days past, it seems exceedingly probable that this Administration will not be re-elected. Then it will be my duty to so co-operate with the President elect, as to save the Union between the election and the inauguration; as he will have secured his election on such ground that he can not possibly save it afterwards. — A. Lincoln
This is what Lincoln wrote in 1864 when he thought he would lose the election to McClellan. But back then he had until March 15 to try to solve the war.
Yes, we know about his statement. Merci. The voters are already surprised that their prices for good will shoot up, that their undocumented mates will be asked to leave or MADE to leave the country, and so many other negative aspects of their lives will certainly surprise them. Trump may get his civil war yet….
I’m with you, Loulou.
Well, it’s nice to have company, haha, merci.
Yes, times are scary!

Just you wait, enry iggins, just you wait.
Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. I pray God will keep us all safe. XO
We will have to do a lot of work to keep ourselves and loved ones safe in this climate….

YEAH, Gidget and dee mum….WAT KIN WE DOOOOOO?
The Lady agrees with you, Gidget. She says she will never listen to him again if she can. ~Murphy
Good, she and mama can listen to US instead!
Hang in there, stay paw-sitive, keep faith and hope. All is not good, but as you say … we stay close with friends, family and neighbors and all that is good and strong and true in our own lives. Now: you’re an amazing cook (better word, chef) … go do that thing that you know and love and do so beautifully!
Merci for those kind and strong words, Ms Ann and June. We shall overcome….
