HURRAH!
Well, mama finally planted the LAST Gladiator seedling that appeared, along with the others, not to grow at all after three months in its seedling pot.
But today he was put in place with his siblings, who have – get this – tripled in size and have tomatoes on their vines! Go figure.
Mama Nature is a puzzlement sometimes, but hey, if she’s in charge in this garden, she’s doing just fine…
BEFORE
Pathetic, right? Poor little guy…
AFTER:
They are sprawling all over the place and NEED SUPPORT, mama!
Like me.
Dad hopes his plants do as well as yours
Well, FINALLY the little runt went into the ground. Mama will let me know if it moves….
Wow, that is a gigantic plant!
She is really big and the flowers are amazing. Mama has never had a hibiscus, and we still haven’t named her. Any ideas?
LOL – maybe it’s a chihuahua tomato plant? Mama still buys them on Cours Saleya – but bet they aren’t as good as those — bt they are really good!!! BUT the melons are incredible!!! We’re going back this morning for more!!!! Bon Appetit Loulou!!!!!
`YES, mama and papa love the melons now, too. Cavaillon melons perhaps. So good with lime, mama says, or prosciutto or smoked salmon, whatever that is.
I thought you were going to tell us you were the runt of the litter when you were born.
Well, who knew? I wasn’t too aware of my siblings and mama wasn’t there to have the info. But if I was, I’m certainly not NOW! He understands who understands.
You and your mom are both doing fine. You’re so cute.
Thank you for joining the Feline Friday Blog Hop.
Have a purrfect Feline Friday and weekend. 🙂
Oh, thank you and we like to do any blopping we can…haha, that’s blog hopping, get it?
Dang, that After photo is something else Loulou!
Isn’t it wonderful that they actually GREW?
Plants have minds of their own! Just like cats! Cheers!
Do they ever!!! But mama talks to them often to encourage them to grow up!
Sometimes the runt catches up and even passes the bigger ones !
Well, it’s evident if I was the runt, haha. But I have lost 100 g and am more sprightly!
