This is my relaxing mode a few years ago after that TERRIBLE LONG CAR TRIP that was not easy to forget…note traumatic eyeballs!
Well, this time, mama and papa are now safe and sound after long traffic delays on the autoroute, but at least NO rain on the trip to Roma. And I could follow above them easily, floating along to make sure all was well…
I used to go with them but oh, yukky yuk, not any longer, thank heaven, haha.
Mama was driving once a few years ago when I suddenly had to…uh…reguritate (and more–being carsick is the PITS) and so I thought I’d show you just where this HORREUR happened!
Since I used to sit in back of papa, mama was afraid I would throw up on his neck…but papa quickly pulled over!
TOO LATE! I won’t go into details, dear readers, but I am sure you know how kitties…uh…lose their lunches….On a happier note, whenever we arrived in that other place, I took over the house within seconds and all was forgiven.
Sort of.
Please forgive me for being AWOL so long, my work has been 10 hours or more every day, and almost no time at home to get things done, but I’m trying to catch up.
Yes, being car sick is awful, horrible, no good and very bad, on top of that it’s terrible. I’m glad you don’t have to worry about such things any more, although I know your parents still miss you.
I’m glad to read they got to Roma safely. It’s such a wonderful place, I was there 3 times a long time ago and wish I could go back.
Merci, yes you were there at the RIGHT time, I have to say. Mama says that the tourist invasion, revenge travelers who were stopped by the pandemic, are WAY TOO MANY. 12,000 PER DAY at the Trevi Fountain.
Awwww, Loulou, us anthros also get car sick sometimes. Glad your mama and papa are safe in Roma and that you could float above them all the way.
Yes, I was their guardian Loulou all the way and am now resting with the…
Well sometimes we MUST do what we MUST do – of course we try to be “appropriate” all the time but tummies sometimes don’t cooperate. I’m sure you’re happy NOT to be in the car but floating through the clouds every day!
Hugs, Teddy
Mais oui, Mr T! That trip was too traumatic..it was easier on the ferry but the ferry trips are over because the company is not keeping the ships in good shape! They are definitely not shipshape any longer, haha.
Rabbits don’t vomit….did you know that…be more like a bunny xoxo Little Miss Titch
WOW, that is amazing!!! Always healthy, wish the world were like that. MERCI for the info.
I know you are keeping them safe. XO
Well, they arrived safe and sound but a bit worn out. Boy, was I glad to be above it all, haha.
Oh LouLou, at least in your current state you can travel anywhere with no unpleasant consequences.
Oui and thank heaven for that!
Icky sicky eh? Our Toulouse sympathises. He poops in the carrier * sigh *
Oh, what a lovely name for a kitty. The anxiety is always hard to bear…I did NOT like cars.
Well I’m glad to hear that they are safe, that’s always the best news. Tell your Mom I’m emailing her.
I will tell her, but she did actually get an email from you and thank you very much for all of the info and yes, they are installed in Rome.
Loulou, Flying above the highway, is definitely a much better arrangement. Honking in the car isn’t as bad as having a PTU pooper like Sawyer. Okay, for about the fifth time. Mom just liked the names Cooper and Murphy and put them together. After she named our big ginger guy, she discovered that there is a baseball player named Cooper Murphy. That’s it. No big story behind it. Hope your humans had fun in Rome. Thank you so much for letting me know the basis of that wonderful name and if you have told me before it’s probably because mom just didn’t get it so she didn’t pass it on to me so thank you thank you thank you we love Cooper Murphy.
Raz used to do worse than that in the PTU.
There is worse?
mol lou lou!!! sumtimez barfiez jus haz to happen!!! my mum jus tellz me to let it owt and git it ofur wif!!!
Oui, dats de gineral outlook on the upchuck rule but oh in de CAR, in my travel apartmint….oh my cod…not fun..
Loulou, that’s what’s so furry great about our purrsonal hoomans, they love and furgive in a split second. After all, where else can they see such beauty as in us. Precious
Nowhere else, Precious, nowhere else.
Hehehe, a Princess knows how to make the best of a bad situation, MOL. And now that spot will be forever yours and your humans will treasure you even more.
ERin
HAHA I’m hoping that spot is growing better greenery thanks to me!
We IMMEDIATELY noticed the traumatised eyeballs, chère LouLou.
And yes – we -er, “regurgitate” quite a lot. Especially Caspurr, who tends to gobble his food way too fast.
Oh, Caspurr…you bad kitty! Well, not bad but quick maybe. Munch, breathe, munch, breathe dear Caspurr…it’s best to keep the nutrition IN.
