HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO MY DARLING HUSBAND!
FORTY NINE YEARS AND HOLDING….
WE MET ON EASTER SUNDAY SO YAY! WE’LL CELEBRATE TOMORROW TOO!❤️
Uh, oh, mama is feeding the ferals….uh, oh.
They are so darling but the multi-colored sweetie is so scared of mama and the other kitties. Always disturbing, as something or SOMEONE frightened her long ago.
The others, and there are two more, just no pics yet, are so loving and wind around one’s legs and their fur is so soft and healthy. I think mama has competition!
Happy Anniversary! What a lovely photo of the two of you!
Oh, merci, Ernie. I must say that I do see much happiness in those two in that photo. It’s on our wall. Of course I wasn’t there but I loved seeing their joy. It’s still here!
Happy ANNIVERSARY! You two look so happy in your wedding photo and still today. Some things were simply just MEANT TO BE! Happy Easter as well and I hope you all celebrate in style – just wish we were there to help you do that!!!
Easter Hugs, Pam, David and Teddy too
OH, merci, and would that be FUN, Teddy, and you could help me water the roses…….
Happy Anniversary from all of us! Thanks for helping out those sweet kitties.
Merci, and a hug for Maxwell. What a darling! Happy Bunny Day.
Happy Anniversary! It’s always good to feed ferals. And, we’ve seen some extremely shy feral cats turn into snugglers … It did take lots of time, but we got some real sweeties that way.
Uh, oh, I hear you…..
My parents were married on Easter Sunday; and every 12 years their anniversary was on Easter Sunday. They were together for 60 years before my father passed unexpectedly.
Oh, Terri, how wonderful and how sad, too. But all of that time together….so lucky. We met by fate and it was the best moment of our lives.
Such a nice wedding photo. Happy Anniversary!!! Pretty kitties, but none as beautiful as LouLou. XO
Oh, thank you, Ellen, and now she is in the garden with her roses. Close to us.
I’m so glad you’re befriending the feral cats! Their experience of independence can make them the nicest pets of all!
When my social cat family’s ancestors were brought in from the alley…Mackerel was easy to bond with, because he was the one who’d been training the city child to bring food.
His sister approached me during the second month. It was fortunate that she was so small and I understood what was going on, because her approach was an attack. She grabbed my wrist and covered my arm in surface wounds. After this initiation she trusted me and even let me take her to the vet.
Their brother would let me touch him after about three months.
Their mother would let me stroke her after about three months, too, but never did let me pick her up. She would not go into a carrying cage. The kittens were successfully treated for worms and a bacterial infection; the mother cat wasn’t, and did not survive the winter.
OMC, what amazing stories of how you must have given them so much love that they develope their trust in you. A wonderful story, and so glad for those kitties that they found a lovely home.
Happy Anniversary to your Mama and Papa LouLou ! And what beautiful ferals … calicos have a way of working themselves into your life and heart ! Of course, all kitties do !
Feliz Pascua ! (sorry I don’t know that much French !)
Feliz Pascua is just fine. I only learned yesterday after having said bonne pacque that one says JOYEUSE pacque. Hope no one was offended, haha. Yes, calicos are so, so beautiful.
Happy happy anniversary to dee mama and dee great elevator!!!!!
MERCI you sweet Gidget. My honey just love your messages to dee elevator.
Happy Anniversary!
Here’s hoping that all the ferals get comfortable with humans.
Oui, and three of ours are but the lovely calico is so, so scared. Wish I could touch her….
Thank you for caring for those who need care.
OH, THANK YOU!!!!
Feeding ferals is a lovely think to do, and some of them of course can end up as “formerly feral”!
Purrs,
The Chans
Well, the little calico is tempting but will not go near anyone.
