This is Watercolor chosen from Lunapic.
Well, today we are going to show you additional art of another kind.
Mama’s granddaughter found this lovely/lonely kitty and musician and now we are all humming the tune and thinking about just what it means to feel alone sometimes…
Thank you, merci, grazie, Margherita! And that you are here with us means we will not be alone until next week, when all of you go back to Rome….sigh…..
I have had the best head rubs, photo shoots, indulgence…attention paid to me that I have ever had!
(Take note, mama and papa!)
I am going to be so sad when our family leaves but we hope to see them in the autumn, traffic willing! Right now the traffic is terrible and tourists seem to be multiplying daily but after the fireworks on the 16th, things should cool down.
We are sending hopes to Maui that the fire will be controlled and that humans and animals will find shelter after this terrible disastor. So hard to imagine. Some went into the ocean to be safe and were rescued by the Coast Guard, thank heaven.
The yellow hibiscus is the state flower of Hawaii. It’s brightness gives us hope for ending the distaster on Maui…
AND A HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MAMA’S SISINLAW, WHOM WE LOVE SO MUCH.
That artwork came out beautifully with that sweet face of yours, LouLou😺Beautiful flower too. Extra Pawkisses🐾😽💞
Awww…merci you two adorables. We love seeing your lives unfold, too.
What a sweetness with the kitty singer!!
That situation in Hawaii is so unthinkably horrific:(
The pretty yellow hibiscus is a beauty.
Enjoy your family time, families are very precious.
Oh, oui, and this one is so wonderful to me. Mama’s little granddaughter played with me constantly and wait until you see what she sculpted for mama amd papa.
That is simply beautiful art, sweet LouLou!
Yes, it is furry frightening what has been happening in Hawaii.
Happy birthday to your auntie-in-law.
Merci, J-kitties and I will pass on your greeting.
Such wide eyes, Loulou! I am purring mega purrs for all those affected by the fires in Maui. What a terrible thing!
Oui, and our neighbor, Lynne, has a huge family in Hawaii but not on Maui. Still…
I love your art! Thanks for the link. That kitty is a good singer. 🙂 XO
So glad you liked the musician and the kitty. We sang that song all day long…
Your watercolor is lovely LouLou – and the concert cat and her accompanist is pretty great too !
Well, evidently he has some other musical kitty videos, too. Very clever!
That photo of you is amazing Loulou…….and the video of the talking kitty and the musician is sweet but also somehow sad. The hibiscus is so beautiful and it’s so very very sad that the beautiful community of Lahaina on Maui is mostly gone. There were beautiful very ancient trees and lots of beautiful flowers everywhere…..We know people who have always gone there for their vacations and it’s so sad what’s happened there.
Hugs, Pam (and Teddy)
Oui, it was a terrible, terrible disaster and in Hawaii! We thought of Hawaii as always wet and beautiful and safe but at least our friend on Maui was safe in another distant town! And yes, the kitty singing is a bit sad. Kitties left alone all day are not happy….
oh my cod, dat kitty singing makez dee mum sad
Oh, mama felt the same and we know a kitty who is at home all day while her papa works…better to have two…..
we luv dee hibiscus, owrs got pummeled by the windz and rain ober dee winter and died, sad. so glad yoo r gittin good luvins loulou
Bio-bizz makes a wonderful product, Bio Bloom that is magic with flowering plants, just in case your mama gets a new plant.
An excellent close-up of you, Loulou!
MERCI and a lovely post of yours today!
