Mama, do you expect me to play with that ball. It has been in the garden for months and have I played ONCE? Hey, ‘months’, ‘once’, haha poetical, no?
When will anthros figure it out that kitties do not PLAY with balls like doggies?
In fact, that ball is THERE for a doggy who is coming to visit.
One guess which doggy.
At least the donks aren’t invited…heaven knows what THEY would want to play with, haha!
Are anthros weird, or what? That ball bores me to tears.
Maybe I could send this ball to Djokovic, whoever he is…
Simon would sure play with the ball, he loves those round things.
Oh, bring him over. He can give me some serve pointers.
I play with balls. They are fun to chase!
Rumpy Bump
Wait a minute…Rumpy Bump? Is that you, Teddy?
I wouldn’t play with that ball, Loulou. It probably has dog spit on it. ~Ernie
Oh, Ernie, you guru, you. Such good advice. Ech…dogspit!!!
Enjoy your time with your doggy friend, Loulou. Always lovely to have visitors.
Yes, and she is such fun to watch chasing balls!
Loulou – I will teach you how to play with the ball (will try anyway). Pappa throws the ball every night and I chase it – as well as my squeaky toys. Those that don’t squeak I just lie in bed with. Or in the car with. I guess I’ll be sleeping with them in the car soon!
Maybe you need a little angel toy to watch over your dreams! Or a new tennie….
What’s an angel? Is that what flew out the window when Sassy died – and Pepper (who was blind) looked at the window and howled?
I think so, yes!
We got overwhelmed with work and missed some of our pals last week. We aim to visit everyone today!
Hmm that ball? It’s like some of our toys here ignored for months then, suddenly, LOVED all over again!!
Maybe like some anthros, haha. Love visits but no matter if they don’t happen. So much going on.
You are too funny. 🙂
I try to make you smile, Ellen.
Ah ! It will be fun to have a toy ready for when your ami arrives !
I’m trying to think of something original but tennis balls seem to work well!
Loulou, we have a tennis ball in the house, which Da Boyz will chase every once in a great while.
The Hubby used to play tennis, and he taught tennis to young’uns a very long time ago.
Unfortunately for us, the US Open is having the men’s singles final today, but since we don’t purchase any of the cable channels that are showing the match, we’ll just have to read about it later…and that Djokovic guy is playing (and will most likely win…)
That Djokovic guy will be the first one to win four in one year since 1950-something, I think. He’s amazing. But we love Federer so much……and our friend, Michael Mewshaw, writes about Nadal because the friend is a tennis buff and still playing in his 70s.
