Visiting my garden yesterday to wave to our neighbor down below in her garden.

An easy spark that we forget too often:

Love thy neighbor as thyself.

That is, if you do love yourself, which we hope you do, because you are one unique and wonderful anthro, that’s for sure.

But maybe loving oneself isn’t that easy nowadays. Perhaps we are too self-critical, which tends to spill over into other areas. Sometimes into friendship. Misery loves company, but that doesn’t mean you have to help it out, haha. Maybe get off the guest list…

Today, mama learned that the neighorhood anthros where the ferals hang out are aware of them and their needs and everyone pitches in to feed and water and care for them.

Mama is trying to remember their names–the tailless one is Lucky, but mama says her memory stops there. Tomorrow she will write the names down. This one played with a nip ‘nana mama took to him. SO cute.

And these are little (real little, single dwelling) waterproof kitty houses mama found on Amazon that easily zip to construct. Lightweight. Inexpensive. We’ll put a flat piece of schiste rock under the little cushion inside to hold it down in these winds. Cross fingers.
