An easy spark that we forget too often:
Love thy neighbor as thyself.
That is, if you do love yourself, which we hope you do, because you are one unique and wonderful anthro, that’s for sure.
But maybe loving oneself isn’t that easy nowadays. Perhaps we are too self-critical, which tends to spill over into other areas. Sometimes into friendship. Misery loves company, but that doesn’t mean you have to help it out, haha. Maybe get off the guest list…

Today, mama learned that the neighorhood anthros where the ferals hang out are aware of them and their needs and everyone pitches in to feed and water and care for them.
Mama is trying to remember their names–the tailless one is Lucky, but mama says her memory stops there. Tomorrow she will write the names down. This one played with a nip ‘nana mama took to him. SO cute.
And these are little (real little, single dwelling) waterproof kitty houses mama found on Amazon that easily zip to construct. Lightweight. Inexpensive. We’ll put a flat piece of schiste rock under the little cushion inside to hold it down in these winds. Cross fingers.
This one, also “love your enemies,” are more important than ever.
Oui, and it’s not easy!!!!
How wonderful the ferals are well fed and now thanks to your Mom, well-housed too! Neighbors helping neighbors…that’s the way “family” should be! We have a heated “house” that we keep on our porch all winter for anyone needing a safe spot especially at night.
Hugs, Teddy
OH HOW MARVELOUS for your kitties in the neighborhood, and how is it heated. Mama would love to know that. Merci.
That is a handsome fella that your Mama is helping! And those sure are cute little kitty dwellings.
LOving your neighbor is the start of SO many good things!
Well, we love our neighbor bloggers…do they count? OF COURSE!
Cute photo. Great spark. How sweet of your mama to help the kitties in need. XO
Well, mama has discovered that even more neighbors help the kitties, so she is really happy!
We loved you saluting your neighbor in his garden…and the pictures of the neighborhood kitties…and all the good care being taken of them.
They had never had a nip ‘nana, that’s for sure!
Awww, someone helping ferals always makes me happy!

We, too, and we love the ferals. So sweet all of them.
Terrific beddies!
They are on Amazan and so reasonable. Washable, hose a ble!
Awww, so precious. We fed our two babies and then got them inside. We’re so happy we did.
I love the kitties houses. Bless you for doing this. It’s cold outside.
Thank you for joining the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Awww Monday and week. β₯
People sometimes dump their animals when they leave our little village after a summer visit…so mean. And these are long-time ferals, don’t know if they would come inside….
