Hi, there, everyone. I was a bit off my feed on the car trip and I’m going to have to take a little break while I get my bearings back, but only a day or so. These are short days in the car, but frankly, I can think of better places to be.
I had a HELL of a time on the first day, pardon my French. I don’t really want to discuss it now, it was something I would rather forget, and frankly, when they installed us in the hotel that first night, I adjusted incedibly well. But leave us draw a veil right now…..
More tomorrow as we cross the border into Italy on the home stretch.
I’m fasting. Not my favorite thing in life but evidently it helps with motion sickness.
Sort of,
Ci sentiamo presto, which means we shall hear each other soon.
Poor Loulou! We hope you are on your feed by now. 🙂
Hope you are feeling better soon and safe travels!
I am feeling better and sort of getting used to autostrade! Go figure…
Oh Loulou lady, I’m sorry the travel is upsetting your daily routine. I sure hope you get an appetite back soon & without tummy upsets. I had the “nauseas” in the spring, so Mom had to give me medicine drops for about a week. Tasted ick, too! I bet you can’t wait to get back home. Loves.
You will laugh. I am between mama’s knees taking a little bath and giving papa a bath, too.
Ma,s
Loulou, I was SOOO sorry not to see you this trip – but we’ll make up for it next time. I totally get it – the motion sickness since I used to have it too. But after what felt like a gazillion trips here and there – I’m totally over it!! Hoping your system adjust – but I had a FABU time with your mama and papa (and my anthros) the last couple of days. It just went by too fast. Sending hugs and kisses. I know. You’re saying YUK. But that’s OK – I’m persistant.
Oh, Mya, I missed you sooooo much and I was juat too spaced out to receive guests, but mama and papa LOVED their visit with you and YOUR maman and papa and we will be back, you can bet on that! And I was PERFECT ON THE ligurian stretch of autoroute and slept the whole trip! Nary a peep. See you soon, Mya. I will miss you so much.
SOOOOOO glad that last leg of the trip went well. It’s miserable being car-sick. One day I will come and visit you in Rome. I’m putting the pressure on papa. Mama is easy – she’s ready to pack her (Lipault) bag in 5 minutes and hit the road. Papa is a bit of a homebody – but somebody in the family has to keep the sanity, right!? I will make mama show me your pictures and read your newsletter EVERY day – and that will help. But not the same as in person!!!! Or in cat and dog?
No, Mya, not the samae at all. And I have not done my…er…thingy this morn so hope it is okay to be in a car for a few more hours. YES, COME SEE US!!!!
Off to the car, ech….
oh you poor baby!! I feel so bad. Please feel better soon! xoxo
I GOT WELL! But it was touch and go there for awhile…
Oh, Loulou, sorry you are having to travel and not feel so good, but we sure hope when you get there, you will be okay.
I was fine when the motion sickness stopped. Thank you for your kind thoughts!
Poor LouLou, I hope you feel better soon. XO
I’m better already! We stopped for a night!
