Let’s start with the good stuff: COMPOST cooking away under those nasturtiums.
Well, just for fun, I took these while mama was gardening and it’s how our little patch of heaven looks as the season opens up to budding and germinating and flowering and all those springy things, whatever they are.
Roses just budding. Give them a month or two…
Fava beans with friend, nasturtium, or capucine in French. The aphids love the nasturtiums and don’t bother with the fava flowers.
Favas, beaning!
Lemons, lemoning!
Mama’s mulch. Looks as if those veggies are growing in our garden but it’s just the pic on the sack.
Stopping to smell the flowers. Or sit in them. We should all do that, no?
Oh LouLou mommy’s mouth just salivated lookin’ at yous lemons. Luv your garden.
Luv ya’
Dezi
I wish I could send lemons to everyone, but alas, it’s not allowed in the mails!
Wow, your garden is really growing! Our is barely started.
Time will tell and I know you have a beautiful garden every year. Things grow well on islands.
Wow, your garden is really growing! Ours is barely started.
Things grow well on islands. Just you wait!
Your season is way ahead of ours. We have some daffodils starting to bloom.
All I have is parsley! And fava beans. But I can’t plant yet as it is too cold.
Yes, we should definitely all sin in flowers. Or smell them. Or eat them, as long as they aren’t poisonous to us. They are there to enjoy, so let’s enjoy them. Right?
Nasturtiums are so easy to grow. That’s why mama plants them. No care. No trouble. They just grow and grow.
