BONJOUR, yes it is I…cloudlike and ephemeral, whatever that means, but just saying hello for a quick minute and snooze on this lovely weekend of St Vincent in our tiny village. CROWDS of visitors, processions, bands and music, food, fireworks last night, too much to mention….
(By the way, mama writes recipes for PO Life. Good articles in this local paper, not only on France. Lots of info.)
Just resting on my laurels…well, near them, not ON them. I rest on the stepping stones, as I have memtioned before, because they are cool and relaxing. Happy Sunday to all.
And mama says to say that it’s not laurel at all but SAGE, haha.
LOTS of sage…
There is some type of party or festival every weekend here in Louisiana. We do love a good party. Only problem, as you mentioned in your fill-ins, you have to be careful.
Mai oui…mama lived in Texas but went to Loosiana and her cousin is always at Mardi Gras throwing beads and boy, do they PARTY!!!!
I used to love that when we lived in Europe. Driving around nd suddenly discovering wonderful celebrations. Cats though, sometimes a nap is better!
Oui, so much fun. And once mama and papa came upn an octopus festival in galicia, in Spain, but octopus is off limits in this house now after having seen My Octopus Friend!
Sounds like a fun weekend, LouLou!
Oh, it is, if you stay HOME, haha.
I bet that sage smells good.
Oui, Murphy, especially when mama crisps it in butter for ravioli!
That festival sounds like fun…..as long as nobody disturbs your naps out in the garden that is……..
Hugs, Teddy
Oh, you are so right! The noise can get a bit much…too many bands playing all over town…
Wow ! That is some festival your little town is having ! At least you can visit and still avoid the crowds LouLou ! Would a bed of catnip be preferable ?
OH, YES. Much more preferred by this ethereal kitty.
That is a lot of sage! XO
Yes, a lot of crispy sage in butter over ravioli…
That is the way to roll Loulou!
Rock ‘n roll, rock ‘n roll, that’s my motto!
A very smart kitty girl ~
Merci, Ms A, but we just want to avoid the C again….
