Hey, this is pretty artful, no?
Okay, I’ll get serious. Here are two of mama’s step-grand-anthros, painted long ago when they were teen-agers.
Julian, now with short hair.
Lisa, now a writer and manager of an art gallery in London.
I think, personally, that mama needs to get up to speed with being in the PRESENT! Paint something that is NOW and sleek and svelte and furry with green eyeballs.
One guess on that one, haha.
Have a spectacular Saturday. I’m off to pass out…
Those paintings are wonderful! She should keep them…and sure, add one of yourself, too.
I think that ‘now’ subjects such as yourself, are great, but the ones already made are always precious, because they record what was one the now!
MERCI, doggies, and we could paint you one day, maybe…if we ever met that is.
Pawsome artwork!
Well you all are pawsome kitties! Merci.
Youare so pretty – and so am I – !!!
Thank you for our lovely portraits, Mya, your maman is so talented!!! We hope all is well there…thinking about you every day.
Truly, Loulou.
You are a work of art.
Oh, merci, but aren’t all kittie works of art, haha?
The art is pretty cool Loulou, enjoy your snoozy!
Well, those kids are grown up now and need a painting update, haha.
Those paintings are wonderful…..! I just bet your Mama has painted you many times before and sketched you and photographed you and totally admired you from every single angle possible! So I think it’s grand she ALSO paints other family..has she done a “self portrait” ???????
Hugs, Teddy
Oh, yes, will put mama’s in today as a mama selfie, haha.
Is that first picture a real person or a sculpture ? Pretty amazing either way.
The grand-anthro pictures are nice but we wouls wnjoy seeing them now too. Lisa isn’t managing “The Tate” is she ?
Haha, not the Tate, but she did an interview recently on her article on Paola Rego, the artist who paints women facing abortion, and it was wonderful. The woman who runs the Tate was also on the show!
Very nice paintings. I do wish your mama would paint you. XO
Well, she did and we’ll put in our portraits today as selfies, haha.
