Well, piggies may go to market but this little kitty went to school!

I think it’s great that a school adopts a smart kitty to be its mascot, sort of.  And how nice that everyone accepts her in the classrooms and such.  I always thought that kitties should be accepted in restaurants and allowed in all sorts of places, on a leash, of course, but oh, no, NOT cats.  What I wouldn’t give to have a taste of some of those dishes in hoity-toity places–lobster lobster thermidor aux crevettes, for example.  Even the crevettes  alone will do…

Well, I’m studying up on lots of things while THEY are gallivanting around seeing family members.  I’m reading all mama’s favourite books and cookbooks and I’m trying to Skype with a few friends but somehow the picture is just awful and I look weird on Skype, sort of bent out of shape.  I was going to check in on several kitties who blog, but until they fix the Skype camera to make me look like the snappy Tuxedo kitty I am, I’m not touching that button. I turn out looking like a gerbil!

I think there are many animals that would benefit from being mascots to schools, hospitals, places of rehabilitation, AA meetings, any number of support groups and  especially homes for the elderly.

My mama’s brother has Cookie, that bad dog, to lie on his bed with him and gaze at him adoringly and mama wrote me that it really helps him enormously because it’s something to look forward to, and in those places for memory-impaired anthros, there is not a lot to look forward to at all.  Cookie may become a service doggy, in which case, she would be a professional make-you-feel-better animal and be in quite a responsible and professional job!

Cookie keeping watch

I have grown quite fond of Cookie, long distance, and I should send her a thank you note for being so kind and loving to mama’s brother.

She’s a real mensch.

Even if she does lick plates in the dishwasher…

Who, ME?

PS If anyone in the Austin area has found this little kitty, please call the number on the announcement.  Mama came across this in her wanderings and it looks a bit like my cousin and so she was really upset and took this photo of the poster of the lost kitty:
