Well, a snooze is always a spark for me and lifts my spirits enormousely, but that’s only if, of course, I CAN GET ONE GOING! A snooze, that is, because we can always get a spark going. I’m going to fox mama and papa.
I’m being really quiet and still…
I feel mama, as usual, sneaking up on me to rub my head or my tummy or whatever she can get her hands on to get her Loulou Fix for Monday morning, but I have a GREAT solution today to avoid this interruption and keep both of THEM away!
I’ll play “possum”…NO ONE wants to pet a possum.
Well, not often, anyway…
And I think this looks pretty believable, no?
🌺🌺🌺
Today and every day we hope for the courageous Ukrainians and hope for planes to aid them in their resistance against a bullying megalomaniac who wants to destroy the West, its democracies, and anything in his path. FORZA, UKRAINE!
I hope you got all the pets you wanted, Loulou. ~Ernie
Uh, I think that may be a number approaching infinity, whatever that means…
You are WAY WAY WAY more cute than a possum and I bet nobody has EVER petted one of those possum’s tummy before. I think you should just make your mind up that your Mama NEEDS to give you pets even when you’re trying to snooze. It doesn’t last long – you can go right back to sleep and she will get her “Tummy Rub Fix” !! It’s a WIN/WIN!
Hugs, Teddy
I am with you on that win, win theme, Teddy. And I am sure you speak from experience, too, with that wonderful tummy of yours.
It’s so difficult to resist soft bellies, Loulou. You can’t help being so cute.
Yes, but what if all my fur rubs off?
You are playing possum like a PRO!!!! I try but Pappa makes me walk 5 times a day – but shorter walks. And in the poussette. Mamma thinks we should do 4. BUT I love my walks and do my “bsiness” every time!!!
Hey, you are a great business woman, Mya, haha.
Possums eat a ton of ticks…literally! They might be not very much eye candy, but they are actually rather sweet and docile creatures.
Your im-purr-sonation of a possum is cute, LouLou!
We sure hope and pray those fighting against their oppressors get all the best of help.
We do too, and we love possum (s) possi (?)?
You are way too cute to be a possum. You are irresistible. XO
Oh, I think you are a one-anthro fan club. Thank you.
Lulu, you look as adorable as ever. Did you know that possums let off a really bad odor as well when they are playing dead? I am certain you don’t do the same. We continue to pray for the Ukrainians. OMC…(the phrase thanks to you, you smart kitties)…I hope I don’t do that, unknowingly! Mama says I don’t have any smell at all except sometimes aftr tuna….
Well, I have never petted a possum, but they hang around and when I had dogs I rescued several that had “died” and carried them into the neighbor’s woods. When I went back later *poof* – no possum there ! Also – one Spring we had a young one hanging around. When he heard me come out with the cat food he would come running with his tail straight up just like a kitten’s, And they do not carry rabies – something about their lower body temp, which is oneless worry. The cats seem to coexist with them with no conflicts. They are less aggressive and destructive than raccoons.
What a story! And where did they go….heh heh. They are adorable and of course were food for so many during the depression especially in the south. I love how they carry their babies…
Loulou, I for one think possums are sorta cute, and they are so very beneficial to the environment!
And, as for tactics to keep your anthro’s hands off of you, well, that’s a losing battle because we all just want to stroke your furs and velvety ears!
Well, mama loves possum (s), too, grew up with them and skunks. And yes, today I had mama do my ears for about 15 minutes! Nirvana!
