Hey, do you think I can catch a salmon with this? Oh, wait a minute–you need a river, right? I do NOT want to get WET!
Well, two things:
- The wild salmon that mama found at the fish market that WE are having for dinner.
- Our president talking about…er… oranges…
We’ll leave that second one up to your imagination as it’s all over the news and you’ll probably see it somewhere.
So let’s get back to the wild salmon that mama is marinating in lemon juice and olive oil and then spreading with a sweet pepper mayonnaise called rouille, used for savory toasts in soupe de poisson. I’ve mentioned that one before on a blog because guess what: I LOVE TO TALK ABOUT FISH, haha. One guess why THAT is…tonight I am getting such a treat when mama cooks me a little without all the other stuff on it.
But if that doesn’t work out, I have already sneaked a look at the SHRIMP mama and papa also brought home for tomorrow’s lunch, heh heh.
And I know where they stashed them in the fridge and when THEY have gone up to beddy bye, I’ll just casually let them know that I’m staying up a bit later to…er…help straighten up the shelf where they conveniently left those little succulent crustaceans.
AND…They are all cooked and ready! My dish is waiting and ready!
Now if I only had a bit of tartar sauce (whatever that is).
HEY, I THINK I CAUGHT SOMETHING!
YUMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM SALMON!! Save some for us please! We will be right over!
Oops, clean plate. Now where did that go?
I can smell that fish cooking from here and that is a Loooong way LouLou. Enjoy that snack with or without Tarter sauce MOL
Timmy and Family
Well, next time I’ll ask THEM to buy more for my friends.
Next time I’ll get THEM to buy extra.
ooooh, Loulou – I can orange for you to have some fish – we’ll see you on Monday – YIPPEE!! Just send your list and we will bring. And the oranges of the fish are printed on the package at Picard. Do I sound presidential yet? Mama laughing at us – we hit the road for Gaillac in a couple of hours. If we can orange all our stuff together…… maybe I could at least be secretary of education……
I always love to know the oranges of most things we eat but you don’t have to bother we’ll talk about it when you get here!Is that guy a crazy or what?
Sounds a bit fishy to us, Loulou. 🙂 But enjoy!
Oh it’s fishy all right but I managed to take care of a couple of shrimp surreptitiously.Oh not eaten with syrup you understand.
You don’t need a water, you’ve got the best catches thanks to the Mom!
Yes I’m giving up on this fishing thing and be waited upon as a princess should be.
Oh my…sounds like good eatin’ for a couple days 🙂
Yep, fish and shrimp make my day (s).
