(Ann Adamus has done it again – the perfect card for these restless times. Merci, Ann, as always for your taste and talent.)
Well, mama is making soup to ward off this weather and she says that everything but the kitchen sink is going into it…I think for example, a soupçon of Yuku zest!
Hmm…wonder if that sink will FIT in her pot?
Not sure of these anthro comments at all and where they come from.
Stop staring at that pot, mama.
A watched pot never boils, haha.
Below, another view of the same soup begun yesterday, even better today. Mama and papa added a pinch of hot pepper, too, and mama sprinkles her with parmesan, of which I get a soupçon, haha.
Now my tummy is grumbling with emptiness, Loulou!
Donc, I just put some soup in Fed Ex…you can wring out the package into a bowl.
What a beautiful card, Loulou! And that soup looks like it would warm anyone’s belly.
Oh, it does and mama adds to it with another soup of potatoes and leeks so now it’s REALLY rich.
Oh yum that looks amazeballs, Loulou! Happiest of holidays to you and yours.
AMAZEBALLS is a GREAT description of anything wonderful. LOVE the word.
Oh my that soup looks SPECTACULAR! What a wonderfully delicious way to keep your tummy warm on the inside…..!!!
Hugs, Teddy
Well, mama says just start with olive oil and throw everything you have around, chopped up nicely into the pot and cover with chicken or vege broth (fasttrack is water with chicken bouillon cubes…) but we always have good broth because of our open market roast chicken guy so we have bones around to make broth.
Oh boy, that looks good
Wish you could have a bowl right NOW!

That is a lovely card!
Merci and thanks to Ann Adamus for her simplicity and well-designed cards! Oui, the hot pepper was a bit too much even for mama! But she added more soup, haha.
Your card is beautiful. And that soup looks so good. XO
Merci, Ms E and thanks to Ms Adamus for helping do a perfect card.
Hot soup for cold days – a time0honored recipe for comfort LouLou ! Especially with some of Mama’s fresh warm bread and some fresh-churned country butter ! (or olive oil)
WOW we need a churn!!! Mama’s grandpere used to churn their butter…what a memory.
