Kitties can smile, as you see above. I smile often, especially during a snuggle.
Well, don’t exactly stalk mama and papa but I do follow them around a lot. Also on one day, the cleaning lady because I was so sad not to have THEM around after they took off and left me sola. Take a look at this wonderful website that the mama of Mya (a doggy!) sent to mama. I think I pretty much says what I was going to say today.
That, and that I am so proud of Germany for eventually taking in up to 800,000 immigrants. Can you believe that? And I don’t know if you follow the Pope’s blog (!) but dear Francesco has said that he wants every parish in Italy to take in one family and find them work, shelter, food and clothing and enough to start a life. Well, in Italy they will certainly get FOOD! Do you know how many parishes are in Italy?
More than twenty five thousand!
How well his name suits him.
And don’t forget to bat your eyes at someone you love today…
Oh, where did you find the picture of the smiling boy? Is he one of the immigrants or just a cute kid you found somewhere? He does look happy!
That little darling is my step-grand-kid, Pietro, and he bats his eyes at Loulou all the time to tell her he loves her and she bats hers back. I couldn’t find an image of batting eyes..
Yay Germany! They have been truly compassionate. The UK isn’t doing so well and has said it will only take refugees from camps and even then, our lousy government is picking & choosing who can come here.
Of course we smile! Science is slower than cats, as usual 🙂

Yes, the UK is not the best solace for the immigrants, but it is an island and perhaps not as large a space. Who knows the reason? The little town in Calabria who took in the immigrants is doing very well, Calice. A dying town with empty homes and the mayor said, Hey, come to us and we’ll get the town living again. Wonderful, those Italians.
