What on earth can free countries do to save young women, children really, who are used by ISIS as sex slaves and forced to take contraceptives so that they will not get pregnant? How does one unravel the tightly knit organization of ISIS that infects its children’s lives with weapons training and ISIS doctrine?

Who ARE these monsters? Why can they not be stopped? That’s a real question that demands an answer. Why can’t they be stopped when we have special forces and Marines and commandos and trained, organized fighters and spies and infiltrators and long range weapons and drones and who knows how many other means of surveillance that would pin point where these animals convene and eradicate them! Yes, eradicate.

ISIS is a disease, and their appears to be no cure discovered as of yet.

Mama says she can’t open any newspaper anywhere now, liberal or conservative, without having the headlines be about this disease that appears to have no end.  Of course, one can read anything one wishes in a newspaper, but mama has fast eyes and unfortunately, sees headlines too often that make it hard to start the day smiling.

To be fair, I also read today about the worlds oldest man who survived Auschwitz and is going strong at 112 plus 178 days and March 11 was his birthday. He has a lovely family and a sweet look. My, what he must have been through and seen.  Two world wars, for example.

When asked, he had no secrets to long life. He is optimistic, wise and values what he has, according to his daughter.

Perhaps that is all we can use as weapons against monsters such as those that ISIS produces. But every monster has an Achilles heel, if only it could be found.

Then, there are people like this man, Abu Shujaa.

In the absence of anyone else to do the job, Abu Shujaa has established a network that makes forays into Isis-controlled territory and brings out Yazidi captives (The Guardian).

Mama says I mustn’t dwell on these badlines in newspapers, that I must simply do what I can every day to bring a smile to someone and be kind to all.

Well, I’m pretty sure I can do the smile part…
