Italy is just finishing its game with England for the EURO 202o European Cup!
And, well, mama and papa are in a pretty strange state of mind right now.
Italy and England have gone to free kicks and mama is thinking that maybe she should just close her eyes until it’s over…
Shoot outs are not popular with mama, that’s for sure.
This blog is to be continued…..I have to go console mama while her eyes are shut in case she opens them! Shoot outs are not her thing at ALL!
Woo Hoo What a Game!
Wasn’t it AMAZING…and FIVE players chosen from all the teams for the hot shot team that 2020 Euro chose. FIVE ITALIANS!
Congratulations to your team and country, Loulou!
Thank you. I should really be honest and say I am French, but I love Italy, too, and have been there often. Just not any longer….sigh.
Well so happy that your Mama survived the shootout (tee hee)….we aren’t sports nuts in my house so don’t keep up with that BUT glad it turned out the way you wanted it to. Did you watch the game Loulou or did you just take a snooze until the action was over with??!!
Hugs, Teddy
I LOVED watching soccer and those beautiful players, but mama and papa have sound through their ears now and so turn off the sound in the room! Darn. Sometimes they turn it on for ME, haha.
Well, Mamma’s not a sports fan – but I LOVE chasing my ball and toys!!!! They were listening to Macron last night…… Mamma is awake now – ignore those last two messages, LOL!!!
Macron is getting tough. At least someone is.
OOPS – BALL!!!!
You said ball. Then said is again. It’s that round thing you chase like crazy, right?
Well, Mamma’s not a sports fan – we were looking and listening to Macron on tv – and he made so much sense. BUT I like sports – especially chasing my mall and toys!!!!!
Or, mall? I got two comments. Merci to Macron.
Congratulations!
GRAZIE!! They are a beautiful team, and I watch with mama and papa, too. Such grace. A ballet of soccer.
Sorry LouLou, I thought my interpretation of ‘Forza Italy’ was ‘Go Italy’, which it is, sort of – but it is also a political party – oops! How about Yay Italy!
Yes, that’s why everyone is saying Forza, Azzurri…the Blue aka the team. That was a dumb move of the politician to use forza, Italia….and he is such a turkey.
We watched that game too, what a nail-biter! Forza Italia!!!
It’s okay, don’t worry…forza, azzurri is better but Italy needs forza, too. Just not from that guy.
I saw some British commentators on the news…
The British team took off their medals as they received them. What poor losers.
Congrats to your team Loulou!
GRAZIE. Thank you. Merci. It was a wonderful game but shoot-outs are not mama’s favorite way to win. I wish the azzurri had come in strong in the last 2 minutes and scored. End of game. And we could have gone to bed earlier, haha.
