Well, you’d think mama would start off my classes with something more comprehensive than Kant’s “Critique of Pure Reason”!
I can’t get through the first page, mama! Couldn’t we have something by Vonnegut? Cat’s Cradle? Or The Cat in the Hat? Or mabye Great Kibble For You and How to Choose The Best?
I cawn’t do Kant!
It put me right into dreamland…
I have Sunday School TOO!! BUT I don’t go!
Well, you probably know it all anyway, Mya, being a smart doggy.
I prefer books with just pictures, Loulou. ~Ernie
Oh, Ernie, I’m with you…especially those books with food pics in them!
Reading puts me right to sleep…takes me hours to do anything involving reading because it means lots of naps. I stay away from my parents’ library (other than to snuggle in the cat bed that’s in there) – besides, my brain is full – no more room for information. Tee Hee
Hugs, Teddy
Yes we have the same inclination…..horizontal, haha.
Yup, I’d say Vonnegut’s Cat’s Cradle, Loulou. It’s a great read.
YES, mama loves his books, merci! And his son evidently wrote a book on depression that one of our bloggers says is wonderful and full of hope and humor.
Kant even SOUNDS hard to me!!!
Well, one of these days, I am going to read it to mama and explain everything…
Heavens no LouLou ! I took American Literature in college and I can tell you the only reason to read Fenimore Cooper is so that when you read Mark Twain’s essay “Fenimore Cooper’s Further Literary Offenses ” you understand exxactly what he is talking about !
I thought that was a car, haha, a Cooper, haha. Yes, we are in agreement, and we LOVE Twain…Always the Twain shall we meet.
Those books would make me fall asleep, too…maybe that is what I need for insomnia! LOL!
Pawppy likes to read theology and technology. What a combo! Yikes! Zzzzz…..
Well, technology would get us going…the whole planet will probably operate with only that one day…argggh…and we will only want to bet back to Luckenbach (?) haha. Especially if it’s NOT in Texas by then…
Sweet dreams Loulou, I hope you have a super snooze.
I’ll see you in my dreams, Mr B.
The Cat in the Hat is a better choice. You actually look like the cat in the hat- cuter though. XO
OOH, merci, and that chapeau is pretty cool…
Ugh, not Vonnegut, Loulou!
I could read those when younger; now, it’s too dated.
Okay, okay, I’ll get back to Kant, it’s not difficult for a kitty to understand. We reason better than any other creature..
