Well, here I am getting ready to do a little dance on Sunday, and I have always loved the samba so tht’s where I’m headed! Do a little dance today and lift your Sunday spirits! Samba, mambo, tango, go for it!
And today mama’s out there throwing seeds around again, especially ones to make marigolds come up and help ward off nematodes in the roots of tomatoes, but who knows if there are even nematodes around here, whatever those are…
And who knows if there will even BE tomatoes, haha? The weather is so squirrely. Wait a minute, why squirrely? Why not hummingbirdy or those birds that fly in flocks and make patterns in the sky?
I think our weather is more like those birdies!!
We’ll let you know if anything come up. Out of the garden soil that is…lots of other stuff is SERIOUSLY coming up!
Enjoy your Sunday. Have a pancake or two.
The weather IS squirrely, Loulou. We might get snow today!
OH NO, SNOW??? NOW??? I’m going to ask Ms Spring to get with it for the island!!!
Hope those marigolds keep the nematodes away from Mom’s veggies. My Mom says “nematode” sounds like a foot condition. HAHAHA
Hugs, Teddy
Ha ha well we have not hd any ‘nematoes’ inthe past but the flowers are also so pretty and smell so good, just not to some pests. That was a good one, Teddy, tell your mama we love her humor and kind heart!
Squirrely because you can never tell what direction those squirrels will go next when they are running around. Good luck with the seeds!
Merci, Messymimi, those seeds have been lectued to GROW. NOW!
Yummy, I’d love to have some pancakes!
Brian’s Home
Maybe crepes, mama says…she loves crepes.
I hope everything that she plants comes up and does well.XO
Well, she will tell her garden that it has your blessing.
Marigolds supposedly also ward off some of the varmints that might nibble the plants. They give off an odor that they don’t like I think…it’s pretty subtle for humans.
WOW, double protection! Wish Americans had that…
We bet you are a suPURRb dancer, LouLou!
Haha, I sort of like free form best…or maybe a little cha cha throw in.
Enjoy your pancakes, and fruits of your moms labour, too. Well, in the fulness of time that is.
Have a lovely week
ERin
You, too, Ms Princess!
