Taking a tour of my Rome digs to make sure all is going well.

Well, when I was often visiting the Rome family with mama and papa, I used to look out our windows on a bright Sunday morn,  and there was always a story lurking there….

I’m along on their visit this time to check on those teen-ager-grand-anthros and make sure they are studying and being polite to others and trying not to say ‘like’ after every word, haha, and this bright, beautiful Sunday, I see a bicycle thrown away at the bottom of the famous marble foot, the Pie di Marmo, which is all that is left of a huge statue of the 1st century dedicated to Isis and Serapis.

Now who rode that rental bike? In the middle of the nght? And who is going to take it away? Does it still “bike”? Mystery, mystery. And so much to tell you about as I visit…

What do YOU think went on here?

And read here about why we really have a Mother’s Day.

And here are mama’s mama and mama as a young child.

Mama’s granny was a ‘belle’…it is rumored that she went to a picnic with one young man and ended up being taken home by another young man, my grandfather!
