Am I cool or what?
Well, dear readers, mama and papa are walking around saying, “Good kitty, good kitty”, “Loulou you are wonderful, what a surprise”and lots of cooing things like that all said to me with head rubs and tummy rubs and even a couple of Whiskas Dentabites as little treats for the fact that I PEED IN THE BOX FOUR TIMES. IN THE BOX.
Now maybe a big thank you should go out to Ms E for suggesting Dr Elsey’s litter attraction additive, which is now in both of my “bathrooms” and appears to function!!!
MERCI, merci, Ms E. At least we think that’s what’s doing it but what the heck, it’s happening!

My big news is that mama and papa went with the Rome family to la Vallee de Tortue and saw mama’s second favorite animal on EARTH, just by chance because she thought it would be only 250-pounc turtles and instead, there are lovely birds and marmesets and goats and a llama and more!
And FINALLY:
These meercats are sentinels, watching the skies for predators, even though at this place there is no danger. But one of the clan will watch for the others, and if there is danger, they will all hit the dirt and go into little safe holes they make in which to wait out the hawk or whatever freaked them. And if there is a dangerous land animal coming for them, they quickly make themselves into a huge bundle to appear as if they are one big tough cookie!

NO WORRIES. THEY move around too much so no wonder their dear friends think they are here or there or somewhere no one knows about, haha. YAY for your “scores” on the target of the litterbox Loulou. Sounds like Mrs. E had a good suggestion and you gave it a try. Nice that your Mom and Dad went to Rome to see that super interesting place with lots of animals – my Mom has always had a “thing” for meercats – they are cute when they’re in a group guarding their “nests” and so smart with their disguises so dangerous predators don’t know they’re there!

NO NO this is in France near our little village. The vallee de tortue, vally of the turtles. It’s lovely and fun to see with kids.

We’ve never seen a meerkat…but petcretary thinks they are cool little critters, too. We used to watch a tv show about them.
