…you’re right up there with Mother Goose!
Well, I don’t have a hat
but my tee will fix that!
We are thankful for his wit
We never tire of it!
And the friends we’ll have for ages
We’re so thankful for most pages
And his family was discreet
and did remove Mulberry Street.
It is where we are today
And can only shout HOORAY
For his brilliance and his charm
Which now has
No cause
For alarm.
You look good in your “tee”, Loulou!
Merci, even with MAMA’S goofy stripes all over the map! Jeez…
What a wonderful post and poem in honor of the grand and wonderful Dr. Seuss. A favorite of kids everywhere (and adults too like my Mom!). Loulou you look good in stripes! But then you look good all the time.

Whatever encourages children to read, amIright Loulou?
And then the kids can read to their kitties; kitties LURV a good story.
YES, we love a good story all right, especially on a moving iPad video of rodents…whatever they are.
We have almost all of his books! We loved them as kidlets, and we loved the still as adults!
We even have those ‘banned’ books…just another sign of the times…well, we have no grands to read any of them banned or not, LOL!
Hey, grands are okay but if you’re loving those books, that’s just as important. Mama’s grands are acquired grands from papa’s kids and that’s just fine with her!
