Thanks that the address to Congress is OVER.
Thanks to the Democratic rebuttal of Elissa Slotkin, Senator from Michigan, and Bernie Sanders to Trump’s address to Congress, which mentioned NO solutions to the many areas that Americans are distressed about: rising prices of groceries, inflated housing and car prices, need for affordable medical care for ALL, solutions for the homeless, improvements in education for our children, what America is doing about climate change and so much more.
To the five brave members of the Supreme Court who voted against Trump’s removal of aid to those who so desperately need it and rely upon it for survival.
Perhaps others will follow suit by voting against his illegal actions, and will save our democracy by removing this tyrannical oligarch from harming so many in so many countries, but most of all in our United States.
We are thankful for the many brave responses to his proven-to-be-factual LIES in his address to the Congress. Unbelievable.
And as always we are thankful for you and your thoughts about any and all of these threats to our nation and the world.
We are thankful for Ursula von der Leyen, president of the European Commission, who is the organizer of the EU countries that have pledged to support Ukraine against the bullying and extortion that the president of the United States is inflicting upon President Zelensky in order to acquire mineral rights that are destined to rebuild Ukraine after the devastating invasion of that democratic country by Putin.
And thank you for reading. You never, ever have to read this blog.
Our dear friend, Kristin Espinasse has written yet another book and it will be out today on Amazon. Mama has read so many of her tales of adventure and family stories and can only say, READ this marvelous account of a family that has wild and crazy adventures living in France. This book will lift any spirits that might be sagging right now!

Yes, there is much to be thankful for. And we just watched a video of George Friedman about how Putin has lost the war in Ukraine. SO interesting. Really amazing overview that no one seems to grasp yet. But so true.

It is worth a look to watch the video of George Friedman speaking about Ukraine and how Putin has lost the war.
Is that lavender, LouLou ? The scent is wonderful and so soothing. We will look up your friend book, but we are pretty happy reading of your adventures in Europe. And we are thankful for the European leaders and their countries stepping up where our country has fallen down.
Yes, it is lavender and soothing, we hope! I am going to send you a link to a video that bears watching. SO interesting…a very different take on what is happening and it makes sense, which was surprising to us as we watched at breakfast.
We are in crazy times for sure LouLou. Thank your Mom for the book recommendation, it looks like a good one. I love your beautiful flowers, thanks for including them.
