And oh, boy, did I know I was LOVED!!! And we love all of YOUR pets, too!
My cloud was a litte smoggy today, haha.
Well, we are so thankful today that there are wise and wonderful anthros speaking out against our government goons and their offensive speeches to allies and other countries. The Vance Dance got no partners, that’s for sure.
But mostly we are thankful for our bloggers and friends about whom we know more each day because of the great fill-ins we read and the events in their lives that they share with us. Merci.
To know that together we have friends around the globe and that we share our joys and sorrows and discoveries with one another is a very heartening and healthy feeling!
There is not enough time to get to know lots of bloggers because there are so many other things that need attention in our day, but the ones we do know have become dear friends and we love finding out what everyone is doing day by day.
Today we have a WET garden and terrace, humid air, drizzly showers and grey skies. Do you ever think about how much we all talk about the weather, haha? Why is it so interesting? Because it is, for some basic reason a barometer for our actions, and we look at our weather app every morn to gauge our decisions and plans for the day.
We are thankful, too, that perhaps your snowy days are lessening and that something green is popping up in your neck of the woods.
Hey, why the ‘neck’? What about the rest of the woods? Could you say ‘the nose of the woods’ or the ‘earlobe of the woods’? Jeez, Louise, why do I even ask these weird questions?
I think the weather is even getting to MY brain, even if I DO feel I shoud be immune to its affects.
Okay, enough of thankfuls. We’re just thankful for lots of things.
End of blog. Orange lentil curry tonight: olive oil, onions, celery, carrots, potatoes, chopped in small bits, turmeric, cumn, chile powder, fennel, small amounts, vegetable broth, coconut milk, Greek yogurt and simmered to be served over rice.
Mama is off to make chapati to scoop it up with, or with which to scoop it up, or to upscoop it with…

The USA is now in bed with Putin.
Trump has said that Ukraine started the war and Zelensky is a dictator, and was not invited to peace talks with Putin and Trump. Russia will now consider taking any country nearby that it wishes to invade.
Trump has pulled out of any agreements with Europe to defend our allies if necessary. The military leaders of the US army think he is certifiable and are afraid for the defense of our USA.
Putin has caused the death of thousands and thoursand of Ukrainians and their famiies with his invasion of a democratic country. The coutry is devastated and Trump is inviting him to OUR White House.
Wake up, America but many are beginnig to do more than just wake. They are organizing aginst this tyrant. For OUR safety. For OUR freedom. Read or not, I simply have to do this.
In these troubling times, we have to remember the good things and be thankful for them.
We are thankful every day for so, so mamy good things but they are quickly being taken away from all of us. It is very, very difficult not to be extremely concenrned but yes, the good things keep our spirits up.
What a gorgeous view your mama and papa have, Loulou. Every day should be Love Your Pet Day!
Well, around here every day WAS love your pet day and now it’s Love Your Ferals day every day.
The weather is important, some things you just can’t do in the rain and snow.
According to one dictionary I consulted, “neck” in this expression comes from the Algonquin word “naiack” which means “point” or “corner.”
As for the rest, I am very concerned for the state of our world.
It is good to be concerned, Messymimi, it is so important to be aware of just what is going to happen to your life, our lives. This dangerous man is committing TREASON and intends to change the Constitution so that he will be outside the law that could convict him. Yes, to be concerned is now our natural state of mind. Daily. We must, each of us, resist this in whatever way we can.
You will always be loved. XO
Oh, Ms E, and we will always love your angels and kitties and YOU.
Thanks for joining Angel Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
Always love to join and do not even need a thanks you but you’re welcome.
We checked out the chopati too – it would be great to have some warm “just to butter and eat” !
They can be done with plain white flour, too, and become bean and cheese burrito holders! From India to Mexico in lightening speed, haha.
Well, over here it is the shank of the evening…but still a month til the Vernal Equinox. Like your Papa we try to remember that very day is a day closer.
Oui, the sun comes in much earlier now…yay, yay and the birdies are peeping at 5am.
