Well, we are so thankful today for, as usual, so many things. Let’s make it easy to think about.
Thankful for:
Heavy rain that took the lemon tree and rose food into the ground instead of having to cultivate it into the soil!
Flowers everywhere, despite cold mornings, as daytime temp rises with Mr Sun.
Lovely cards from kind readers that were so helpful to us with our adjustment to the change in our family. (This pertains to me, L, so merci from me.)
Our grandson, 18, passed his driving test! Thanks to his mamma who practiced with him every day for months.
Thanks for kitties who found forever homes today, wherever that may be.
Thanks to shelters and those who run them compassionately.
I think we have to stop here as this could go on forever and we know you have MANY other things to do today, that listen to us rattle on, haha.
And thanks from me…ciao and meow from yours truly,
A sweet crop of thank you notes…..we are thankful every day for friends, happy moments, and too many other things to make a list! We know adjusting to BIG changes is rough and life is different but it goes onward with hope. We are thankful that you are still sharing your thoughts with us in your blog – life really DOES go on….just differently!
Hugs, Pam and Teddy too
Yes, Teddy, and it will because now I am in MY garden, happy as a pain-free kitty can be, and will have to help mama with spring planting and so much more. The kitchen door is right where I can see it always.
That’s a wonderful list. Congratulations to the Grandson!
MERCI, messymimi, and as you can imagine he is on a cloud! Let’s hope the OTHER drivers are sane….that’s what mama always says.
I am SO with you feeding the leom trees. Our small tree flourishes thank to feed but the ground is heavy clay so I hope for rain as I can’t dig!
Just spread some chicken or horse manure aroudn the bottom and it will eventually sink in or get rained in. They are safe after processing to just spread around or the nursery person can advise you. OR—keep chickens, haha. Eggs would come in handy tomorrow….
That was a wonderful bunch of thankfuls Loulou and we’re always thankful for adoptions too. Thanks for joining Angel Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
I salute you nurturing family of kitties and your advocacy for adoption. MERCI.
Wonderful lists of thankfuls. Congrats to your grandson. XO
Merci, Ms E. He is delirious with happiness. AND he can chauffeur his sister and help his mamma in Rome. I’m sure she is thrilled….
Lovely thankfuls LouLou. Passing a driving test is a real milestone – it took me 3 times back in the day – LOL!
But now you hotrod all over, right? Loved your Eyes Of March
And thank you, LouLou, for reminding us we all have things to be thankful for. Today is opening day for baseball over here !
Magnifique…right off the bat we are glad for that!
Appreciating all the good things and being thankful for them is something that we all too often forget to do. Thanks for the reminder!
Purrs,
The Chans
And there are sooooo many….like your sweet animals.
We all are thankful that your pawrents shared you with us all, Angel Loulou.
Aw…that is really touching to mama. I loved being shared….
