Well, it seems as if my little patty paws are loosening up with the warmer weather, or at least I scampered upstairs this morning instead of putting one paw in front of the other to pull my back parts up onto the next step. Papa, always says, “Scamper, scamper, Loulou,” when I meow before ascending into my upper dwelling, and I think “Are you out of your mind? Scamper?” And then I did it!
And when THEY forgot to put my water dish back on the floor where it belongs (!) after having cleaned the bedroom, I simply stood up and drank off the chest of drawers.
(I actually do have other watering holes around the house but hey, this was a piece of cake, whatever that means. I got no cake.)
Still, I think the Cosequin for arthritis is kicking in, so to speak, haha.
Pretty soon, I’ll be kitty-bugging with the best of ’em.
Mine is not to reason why, mine is but to scamper or fly, and I won’t be doing that, for sure.
Maybe papa could invent a little kitty-copter to get me up the stairs when neeed.
Okay, okay, scratch that.
At least it’s easy going down…
Great to see that you’re moving more easily, Loulou. Winter is always hard on the ‘ol joints.
Boy, is it ever. And we still winter, that’s for sure. Keep warm and safe in SA. Maybe cuddle a koala…
Glad to see you got the moves, Loulou.
Well, finally, but some days my moves are slowed a bit.
I’m pretty good at going up the stairs but going down is a bit of a problem….I’m a big cat – not just weight but length and the steps are just too close together! By the time I get to the bottom I’m going 100mph! Goodness…..anyway, I too have watering holes all over the house but if Mom doesn’t put fresh water in them every morning I get a little upset. Well – just a LITTLE!
Hugs, Teddy
You, too? We kitties love fresh H2O that’s for sure. Mine has some tooth thing in it…Oxyfresh but I don’t taste it.
That sure is a LONG staircase to climb, LouLou, let alone scamper!
Nice to hear the cosequin seems to be helping.
Well, it is long to a kitty, but definitely easier going down.
LOL, you are TOO FUNNEE!!!! I don’t get cake either – but doggie treats! My fave is Orlando! But not going to show this to Mamma – or she will put my food and water higher up!
Ha ha, your maman isn’t that evil, Mya. And mine just forgot, as usual.
Lou Lou its been a long time since last I wrote – tell your mamma and papa I think of them with affection so often but I suspect they wouldn’t know it since I never write. No reason really, just California laziness. I love reading your daily diary and am so pleased your folks are taking such good care of you as you are just the most deserving cat ever.
Oh, Babsy, we miss YOU so much. And is that Charlie still making pizza for the neighbors? Wish we could meet somewhere, someday….thank you for visiting.
Yes Charlie is still making pizza and sourdough loaves thanks to your mamma teaching him so long ago!
OH, how we miss you!!!
Glad the Cosequin is helping you feel like a kitten again. Great shot of you getting to your water bowl. XO
Hey, I HAD to get up there or go find one of my other ones. Sometimes I’m lazy…
How wonderful your taking the steps so good Loulou. Cosequin is good stuff.
Yes, we are happy about this, or maybe I’m just getting younger while THEY get older haha.
We are so glad you are feeling better LouLou ! You can get so used to arthritis pain that to suddenly be free of it makes you want to turn cartwheels (not that we could even when we were much younger !)
Oh, I’ll bet you could turn carwheels, Mary. Somehow I just think you did some cool moves when you were my age…around 12 or so.
Scamper, wee Loulou!
We’ve made a small staircase from cardboard boxes so wee Sweetie can get up on the bed without jumping.
She deserves the pampering.
That is a great idea, how original. You should put that in your blog!!! And boy, does mama have Amazon boxes from being isolated so long, haha.
