Hey, I may be a mule, but I make the best…er…garden addition!
Well, donkey and doggy both begin with ‘d’ and also with a new friendship this year. Mama simply could not resist this sweet story for starting off our new year and maybe if I’m lucky, our donkeys will want to spend all their time with ME!
Uh, oh, I just realized; I’d have to get permission from mama to have four donkeys and a mule in our little garden.
Somehow I don’t think that’s going to work.
I suppose I could visit them in their corral across the street…hmmm.
Then again, if they were in our garden mama wouldn’t have to buy and then lug down our stairs those big sacks of manure she uses in winter.
Now THAT might just be the ticket for getting them over here!
On second thought, four are a pretty big crowd…
Okay, so DON’T have us over. See if we care.
We like donkeys. We wish we had some living by us.
Well, these guys would make mincemeat of my KIBBLE so I’m glad they are at a distance. But I hear them in the morning and I meow back. Also wave….
They are cute donkeys.
And they are so sweet, their little lips are like velvet when mama feeds them.
You have donkeys across the street from you? Does your mom get free sacks of manure?
Well, mama’s neighbour gets most of it because it’s his property, but they give me a little for my very little garden.
4 donkeys? Yep dat’s a lot alright. MOL We hope yous havin’ a gweat week LouLou.
Luv ya’

Well, they are so sweet. It’s the mule, Pompanette, who kicks up a storm every now and then and pushes the others out of the way. But she’s old…
