For the birds!
Well, are you all doing a lot of drinking? Haha, I don’t mean meowgaritas (thank you, Ernie) but I do mean H2O (and let’s be honest, meowgaritas). We are having a summer heat spell and I seem to be dipping into all the water buckets around here that mama puts out for me.
There is something mysterious in each one for my – I use the word loosely – teeth, too, and it’s supposed to help what few are left be stronger and give me sweet breath.
Evidently, it works. No one is running when I yawn, or accusing me of tuna breath, whatever that is. But every now and then, I really understand those birdies splashing in the other birdbath when it’s this hot.
Uh, oh, I saw one dip into MY bucket…he’s going to have a heck of a beak, haha. Time for a water change, mama.
Didn’t we just have a little evening fire going a few days ago? Maybe all the weather anthros are baffled about these rad changes from week to week, but I’m taking advantage of lolling in the garden.
But mama, could you bring a little ice for my water bucket, please? And while you’re at it, maybe a few chips and guacamole…
I’m busy topping up my meowgarita with nip.
Maybe you should take a swim in that water, Loulou, to cool off.
AUEWWWWW. WET.
Water is refreshing, but margaritas definitely have healing qualities of their own, Loulou. Stay cool. 🙂
You can say that otra vez!!!
I wonder if Mama could make me a Barkarita? I could sip that while she’s guzzling her Apérol Spritzes! Well, that’s what summer’s for – cool drinks! But so far all I get is water. Sometimes with an ice cube. As for Animal Paradise (teehee) I got a reprieve – they’re booked until June 23! What luck! But Mama’s hair is looking pretty grim – maybe she needs to go instead of me!?
Your maman’s hair is gorgeous according to my mama and my mama’s hair needs much more ..er..tweaks…than your mama’s hair so tell her to just let it go silver and love it. My aunty Gigi’s hair is half silver and half gold now and she look HIP. Very chic…as if some hairperson had actually DONE that as a color.
Our outdoor kitties enjoy lolling too – but we have to watch out for ticks !
OH, TICKS. Awfu, especially for anthros.
Water sure is good for us kitties Loulou!
Well, I have several bars around the house, haha.
