Mama, why can’t I have my water bowl on my duvet? Jeez, the rules around here…
That title is only because I am spending a lot of time at the water cooler.
Wish I had some fellow workers to hang with, haha. BUT…when one is jabbed twice a day, one tends to drink more to get rid of the baddies, so I suppose you could say I am on a cleansing routine. At least I drink water, which sometimes kitties don’t do easily.
I think today I will just have to start a list of thanks for so many things: insulin, for one, a warm little heated bed for my aging body (mama has papa to do that, haha), fresh water to drink, little sweet trees, all over our village, tied with bows, a roof over our heads, kiwis on the vine about to ripen for a Vitamin C source all winter, our suffering neighbor about to get his aching back fixed, papa getting better and better at being an elevator (!), kitties who are getting adopted for Christmas as sweet gifts for some lucky family, oh, there are so many thanks we could give so I’ll just say we are glad for Emmy and Sawyer and any other sweetie who has good health news.
I don’t really have to make a Santa list because I have so much already that warms my cockles, whatever those are.
A big thanks always for friends we have met through my ramblings.
Off to have 40 winter winks, whatever they are.
Does that mean I have to snooze with my eyes opening and shutting? Jeez, Louise.
Oh, shucks the Netherlands soccer team lost…
Sorry, We are off subject…but now at least we can snooze here and no longer have to fret over what might be the outcome…and we can drown our sorrows in a good drink…Oops, us pups know nothing!
And Santa had no drinks on his lap either when we went to see him…just a big scary dude in a red suit…poor Dalton seemed terrified…I Benji, was scared too, but hey, I have sniffed that dude before…BOL!
When we got home it was white Christmas at our den…2 inches of heavy snow. slippery on the roads, so we will stay home tomorrow we got our errands done.
Oh, condolences for the Netherlands, a great team! We watched the USA and Netherlands and boy, were we outclassed! We only started playing in the last 10 minutes…sort of like the Roma sometimes, haha. But love the team and the fans! Mama’s stepgrandchild lives in the Amsterdam and loves it.
So many things to be thankful for. But I think you should have your water bowl on your bed. ~Ernie
Oh, my guru, I shall pass this on to those nay-sayers.
What a comfy bed, Loulou. Enjoy your snooze. It’s wonderful to always have something to be thankful for.
So many things, and I know you have many, too.
Loulou you look so perfect curled up on your duvet….you really know how to nap with class! Water is important – Mom has water bowls on all three floors of our house for me and I make sure and visit all of them during the day. Keep those cockles warm dear girl!
Hugs, Teddy
Wow, Teds, you are SO lucky to still be able to do stairs! I was once like the gay young chamois…how lightly leaps the gay young chamois who leaps from rock to rock and never misses. I always feel all cold and clammy when on the edge of precipices….
I am glad you have a heated bed. Emmy has a heated blanket. 🙂 Thank you for mentioning her. XO
Oh, I think a heated blanket would be great. Hm…mama is pondering that but I do love my little bed, I think the idea came from you.
What a sweet post LouLou ! We are grateful for those things and for you and the other blogging kitties too !
Oh, merci, Ms Mary. We love our distant friends we have never met but feel as if we have known for years!
You do need a bottle of water there with you Loulou, that would be most convenient. Thanks for joining our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
As always, hopping is one of our faves!
We’re in the same boat, Loulou. Getting old isn’t for sissies.
Have a purrfect Thankful Thursday. My best to your mom. ♥
Well, we are lucky to have learned to be courageous when young! Happy holidays to you.
It’s enough to know that your cockles are warm, Loulou…best leave it at that, cutie pie!
Well, wherever or whatever they are, they are toasty!
Sweet LouLou, getting older is not for wimps is it? Stay strong, we’re sending lots of purrs and love your way.
I loved your description on my blog of the French National Team playing in the World Cup … ‘like a ballet’. That is a purrfect description, they are so beautiful to watch!
Oh, I’m glad you liked that. Soccer to us is so often a dance, especially in Italy, even when they are not so good, they are so graceful. Have nice legs, too….
