My garden is my GURU to help me relax with all this craziness that comes with THEIR return!
Well, it’s TOO much that THEY are back…running about like crazed weasels trying to unpack and find things they put somewhere and forgot where and planting tomatoes that mama brought back IN THE CAR in a little pot and getting groceries and making focaccia and washing suitcase clothes and ironing crumpled suitcase clothes and letting family know they are back safe and sound and then collapsing.
Well, safe anyway, not sure about sound…
So today for me is TOO much.
I’m off to float around the garden and chat with the birdies, love those little flappers.
Travel is exhausting, mama says, but yes, they are tired but happy, haha. Lt’s call it “Trite Tuesday”, haha.
A goodbye and birthday dinner before leaving. Mama and papa’s grandson is good at selfies, haha.
Your quiet days visiting your castle are over – Mom and Dad are home and of course that’s good but it’s not as QUIET there as it was……you did a great job keeping an eye on things for them though Loulou and I’m SURE today will be less “crazy” since they should have settled in again!
Hugs, Teddy
Oui, Mr. T, settling in takes some time and there is a lot more noise around here than before…I’ll get used to it. GLADLY!
What a beautiful family your mama and papa have, Loulou. I think floating around the garden until the post-travel activities are done is a great idea.
Well, I do need my private time for reflection and other mental and spiritual things…
Beautiful family ❤️theres no place like home😊❤️
Merci, Ms D! Mama and papa were so glad to see you in Rome! It was lovely except for mama’s wierd reaction to her Shingrix.
There is always a good feeling when returning home! Love the picture of you Loulou, and, what a marvelous family portrait!
Merci, Ms Leah, and yes, home is where the hearth and heart are.
Beautiful family photo. And any photo of LouLou makes me happy. XO
Awww…Ms Ellen. Your family portraits make US so happy, especially those little girls….
You have a beautiful family, I’m glad the two you specially claim are home safe.
Merci, Ms Messymimi. Mama and papa are SOOO glad to be back.
Love the family portrait, as well as the shot of you “swanning around” your garden. Hopefully things will settle down soon without the weather interfering – we are in the 90’s for the week…
Holey tamale…90s this early in the summer months….uh, oh.
Going is a good thing, but coming home is even better. Great selfie.
Thank you for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Happy Tuesday. ♥
Merci for your visit and yes, coming home is the best part of leaving.
That’s a wonderful group photo and I’m glad they got home safely!
Merci, Mr. T. It’s a rare moment and THEY just barely avoided a hug heat wave in Italy.
