HA HA HA…
…except I’m not, really! No way, Jose. I won’t have to be STUCK IN THIS CAGE again and get seasick and pee in the shower and…well, you don’t want to know…
…but I’ll miss the cozy little ferry closet…
HAHA, JUST KIDDING! Have a wondrous Wednesday.
my Mom and Dad haven’t had a vaction since 2010!!! MOL!
Hey, time to take at least a weekend!
I don’t like leaving home either, Loulou. I hope you get to stay home. ~Ernie
I’ll stay with my kitty whisperer but we’re not sure she can give the shots yet. But there is someone else who can.
I HATE being in the car and going to the vet is about all the “tripping” I can manage! Mom and Dad however insist on going to Maine every October which means I have to stay at the Pet Hotel. I suppose that’s my “vacation”. Home is where I prefer to be 24/7. I’m glad you don’t have to be crammed into your carrier dear Loulou (at least until your next vet visit!).
Hugs, Teddy
Wow, we do not have a Pet Hotel! But I would not do so well there, Iβm afraid. Mama has to jab me twice a day, for now, at least, but maybe that will end one dayβ¦.
The Pet Hotel is run by some very kind nuns and they give medications to those who need them, etc. but at least SO FAR I don’t need meds and I hope you won’t always have to have those jabs into your delicate little body!!
Hugs, Teddy
Oh, for a nun-run kitty hotel for me! We have our kitty sitter but we are not sure she can give jabs so everything is up in the air. Mama just doesn’t like to leave me and that’s the truth.
Travel is most definitely the spice of life, Loulou.
…but not for kitties, haha. Mama and papa are really longing for it.
Minko messed in his carrier, too…
Are you eating your noms in that carrier, LouLou?? And finding them chop-licking yummy!
HAH, if I eat in my carrier and we MOVE, you know want to know…..I was sticking my tongue out at my carrier.
We’re just taking short trips – like Menton on Saturday. But I HATE the car! BUT we will come and see YOU THREE spring or summer!
Yes, Mya, cars are verboten in my opinion! But I was good last time because papa drove about 5 mph, whatever that means, haha.
That doesn’t sound like lots of fun Loulou, staying home sounds better.
Home is where the hash is. The meat kind I mean.
Glad you won’t have to pee in the shower. π XO
Well, I didn’t want to pee somewhere that would have to be cleaned up and on the ferry (long ago) the little shower was the only place I could go at times and could be washed down very quickly.
LouLou we are relieved to know you have been spared another trip. None of our kitties like vet trips but once they get there they are not too unhappy. And when they are headed home – they certainly know it !
YES, we do know it. I smell ‘home’ as soon as we hit the village limits! But the vet LOVES me and I am limp as a dishrag most of the time. It’s only that car ride that I #&*%@!!
Pee in the shower, Loulou?
Celestial Chuck would pee and more when he was put in the carrier, which is why we decided to discontinue most of the vet visits to give him peace.
I was trying to ‘fix’ his health issues, but once I realized he was too unhappy and stressed, we stopped that avenue, and made him as comfortable and loved at home as we could.
Because of Chuck, we adopted Manny and Chili Bruce.
OH, Manny and Chili Bruce (WHAT IS THE ORIGIN OF THAT NAME???)…what would you have done without THEM??? And you were kind to keep Chuck at home. Loulou is great in her carrier, but she throws up at least once at the beginning of a trip. NO MORE TRIPS FOR HER. She is diabetic and taking two shots a day but doing very well with a tiny bit of insulin. 1.5 IU…tiny, tiny. But she still pees quite a bit and is always careful to use the box. I was cleaning it when she decided to use the shower. Very astute. And not the FLOOR.
