Not literally, as in falling over those WEIRD shoes mama bought that feel like clouds and look like gunboats, whatever those are! But tripping in the sense that THEY are taking one to see their grand-anthros and others in Italy after so long and I think mama’s head is already in the trip clouds–taking this, not taking that, things for the kids, things requested, and on and on and on. Not to mention NOT TAKING ME!
(Thank heaven! A car trip for me is like swimming naked on New Year’s Day off the coast of Scotland, wherever that is…)
What happened to those days, mama asks, when you threw a toothbrush into a little bag and hit the road?
I’m off to ponder that and come up with a good answer…
Nice that your Mama and Papa are taking another trip AND that you have such a nice kitty-sitter to take care of your needs when they’re gone. That’s a WIN-WIN!!
Hugs, Teddy
Well, it’s important for them and our Rome family but oh, boy, is papa going to miss talking to me ALL DAY LONG (not when I snooze, thank heaven).
You do look like you are having a grand time pondering Loulou!
I am a pussycat ponderer of the highest order.
I am like that already for a trip in October 2024…Yikes!!
320 miles of driving followed by a plane flight of about 3000 miles!! No wonder I am in a tizzy already!
Tell your pawrents to enjoy every minute of their trip…they know you’ll be in good paws…er…hands!
WOW—Calma, calma…you have a long way to go before freaking out, haha. Kick back for just a little longer and dream about your wonderful trip. Where to?
Vancouver, Canada; to be at my niece’s wedding.
Oh, we have such GOOD friends on Salt Spring Island. They have Suki, the kitty who was featured on Loulou recently, lying on a lovely rug. That is quite a distance from you. But weddings are so nice. The truth is, mama has said to several young women in her life, “Honey, take the money and have a small ceremony somewhere you love to be and get on with it, starting out with money you will be happy to have.” Some did, some didn’t. One of mama’s friends had a HUGE wedding, money no object, and the friend said later, “Well, that day was the best of the rest of the marriage…”
Our third kitty was called Suki!
Oh, how nice to have a connection so far away.
Travel broadens the mind, Loulou.
We also learn that comfort is very important as we gather more experiences.
You bet your boopy it is…mama says the same thing. haha.

Oh, I have a surragate kitty sitter whom I adore, and she stays with me and spoils me rotten.
