Well, sometimes I just stare at my iPad and hope my blog will magically appear.
And today, I WROTE my blog on the iPad and not only did not appear, it DISAPPEARED. So I’m writing it yet another time.
As for typos, being a Typo Tilly is not quite as bad as a Typhoid Mary, but sometimes it’s close. Mama is supposed to edit my blog, and she was an editor herself of a neighborhood magazine, so why is it that these bloopers keep popping up only to be found by our THIRD editor, papa, who kindly reads my blog each morn.
Mama sips her little cup of coffee and waits for the verdict. So do I, frankly, because if she doesn’t start catching these little slip-ups, we’re going to be in deep…er…whatever.
Still, I do type quite fast, as most kitties do, and every now and then (I almost wrote meow and then–oy, day), I do put my little paws on the wrong part of my keyboard and this is what comes out:
Er;;. z;pi;pi ypfsu ;ryd etoyr smf ,s,s dvtreomh i[ pm ,u zn;phzz!!!
You see what can happen if you are not paying attention.
Blogging takes persistence, concentration, dedication…
Oh, and watching where you put your paws!
I think its fun when the computer voice comes on after I “optimize” the computer. Tee hee hee.
WHAT? Your computer TALKS TO YOU? WOW. What is optimize…I think I need that.
I wish I’d saved that paragraph Bisquit typed once. Loulou might have had some idea what it meant…
Oh, Bisquit, it’s nice to have company with my typos…
Oh my! Well, Loulou, i knew what you were trying to say. And it looks like Mama’s writings after spell check gets through with them. She has learned to proofread. Sometimes. Speaking of disasters – papa fed me a nice “home-cooked-meal” of hamburger and veggies because he felt guilty about not taking me to the Indian restaurant thinking Wet Dawg (heavy rains) would be unwelcomed. HA! I woke him up at 4AM to take me outside to “unload” ….. Guess that competed the guilt trip. Probably no more burger meals, but bet he’ll take me NEXT time. I do have a raincoat after all….
Ha ha four in the morning! I’ll bet your papa was really happy about that, you diabolic doggy! Well, it was worth the hamburger to stay home. I’m not sure you’d survive curry!
You are doing a great job LouLou. XO
Well, no typos this morning from the third proof reader, thank heaven.
Jan has the same problem and she doesn’t have any paws to blame her mistakes on. 🙂
Wait a minute—you’re talking about her OWN lettes and stuff, right, not YOUR writing of YOUR blogs with YOUR paws?
Ah, LouLou – I taught myself to type when I was in grade school and never did learn not to look at the keyboard. But even ,,k,ij now (the kitty intervened to type there for a moment) – especially when a rather large kitty is laying across me, I still can’t see the keyboard. Hilarity ensues !
Oh, that’s funny. And do your kitties lie across your work often? They are probably editing.
Mama learned in high school too but she never looks. That’s the problem, haha.
