Well, mama’s tulips bloomed! All two of them, haha.
She planted them for papa because they are the Roma colors (they tied with Vitesse last night, by the way) and next fall, mama is going to plant 10 or more, maybe 11, odd numbers are best, non?
But they opened bammo…in practically minutes they had opened. And one of them is in a kind of pathetic state, but what the heck. They cheered us up for a day or two…
As for me, I am completely tuckered out from fertilizing those two suckers for a YEAR! A gardener’s work is never done, as I’d rather be snoozing in the SUN!
Have a sweet week-end…that’s week with two ‘e’s, not weak with an ‘a’…
This is more like it, non?
Mama did THIS TO ME WITH LUNAPIC!!!! She is dangerous.
The colours of the tulips are so beautiful, LouLou and you…well..you spinned me round’and round’and round’😸Pawkisses for a Happy Week ahead🐾😽💞
Ha ha, that spin was fun, no? And the tulip was really nice when opened. A surprise.
Wow, what a gorgeous colour that tulip is, Loulou.
Well, it was red and yellow for the Roma colors…also Catalan colors, very convenient! I’ll plant more this year.
It’s so nice to see those tulips! Our flowers are just now poking their heads out of the dirt. It will be awhile before we see blooms.
Well, we were bowled over with these two. Surprises from last year’s planting!
Loulou – you look beautiful in the montage! And the flowers are bzautiful TOO! We gave our big plant away to neighbors because it gave Mamma alergies! She is better!!! We have flowers and cactus and orange trees – but we don’t grow them. We are going to get our fourth shot – !!! We hve been home too long – but dangerous to get out with all the covid here!
Oh, merci. We have had our fourth jab but they don’t do much, evidently, except keep one out of hospital. Masks and distance work best for us right now. And mama remembers your wonderful orange tree…
O, Wow, LouLou, you’re Kaleidoscopic now!!
Those are such pretty colors of your tulips! Maybe your TLC will help the next set be as pretty!
We planted a whole bunch of tulips a long time ago…none are left cause the squirrels dug them all out…presumably and they disappeared.
I have been out of town, so am very behind…I enjoyed the previous posts…loved the Iris dancing, and the story of the children cheering up anyone who needs it was fab!
Oh, merci, merci. Out of town sounds like an adventure! Hope it was a good one. We loved the kiddoes, too, and called the number. Listened to them laughing…
Happy to see you are using Lunapic! I like how she made you into a kaleidoscope! The tulip is a gorgeous color. Haven’t seen any tulips open around here YET – we don’t have any but neighbors do. The squirrels ate all of ours. boo hoo
Hugs, Teddy
Well, thank your mama for Lunapic and we thank Ellen, too. Sometimes we wonder just where our heads have been, haha. Lunapic is so LOONEY and fun.
Glad you were able to play around a bit with it – so many things you can do. Hope you didn’t wind up paying for it because it is free to use online.
No, it was free and thank you again.
Beautiful, hooray for blooming season!
I think we have two little ones coming up now. We’ll see. It’s freezing.
Very pretty tulips. How sweet of you to help out by fertilizing. I want to snorgle your tummy. XO
Oh, Ellen, mama had such FUN with Lunapic. Duh, mama, where have you been for years? Merci for your suggestion! And I hope the kitties work out with Cathy.
Our tulips poked up green shoots and then got covered in snow, but they are soldiering on as it is warmer again. Purrs !
How beautiful, tulips in snow…
Loulou, we have little green sprouts only in the garden; hard to know what is growing!
But what fun surprises when they show themselves!
