Okay, those bags are out and my cage…er…traveling compartment is out, and mama is cleaning out the fridge and I just know something is in the wind. And speaking of which, there is ALOT of it evidently on the day we had planned to arrive at the end of the journey, and that makes the waves taller, and so we moved it up a couple of days and everything around here is in chaos and turmoil, whatever they are!
All of a sudden all the things we brought with us for Christmas and birthdays and things that happen around here in December are somewhere around this place and mama’s piano music has to be remembered and receipts for things and then all the stuff in the freezer that goes back with us in the cold-bag has to be sorted out–black-eyed peas, plum puddings (mama made seven this year, SMALL ONES, but still), parmesan, perishables that we can eat when we get home late at night and are starving, especially ONE of us since THEY will not feed me before car trips either, so as you can surmise, it’s a zoo around here, haha.
Maybe one of you out there will send us a really funny video to boost our spirits before this trek! Maybe mama should have looked into the kitty wine so I could kick back and just enjoy the ride on that humongous woo-woo things that pulses and vibrates all night long, but no, she did NOT get the vino for me and there I’ll be, mid-sea, hoping those waves don’t get higher.
I’ll be checking out the seagulls, I guess, although I just remembered. Don’t birds get lost in winter and fly south for warmer climes? Wish I could do that. Tonight it’s 4C, which is COLD–39F. But from some of the blogs I’ve been reading, that’s almost summer to some of you, no?
Off to pack. I want to make SURE that THEY do not forget my String, kibble and Feliway. At least I have that. Over ice, haha.
Just kidding.
Have a safe trip home. Be warm and happy. There is food at the end of the journey.
OH, was I a GOOD kitty. I think that the decision NOT to give me a calming drop was a good one. I did not make a peep, even in the few rough times we had, and I was amazingly lovable and content to sleep in the closet on my little blanket. All was well and yes, there was FOOD last night.
BON COURAGE, Loulou!!!! Maman, Papa – et Moi – we are all so excited you’ll be arriving soon!! I know that feeling when the bags are packed and they’re running around like crazy – it means VOITURE – ugh! Just don’t tell them about BATEAU – horror!!! Just remember – we’ll be playing on the terrace soon, chasing birds, sneaking little veggies off the vines – beaucoup mischief, nous, teehee – bisous et à bientôt!!!!
WE ARE HERE, MYA. And I did not peep or throw up one time and I was adorable and the sea, because of a GOOD capitano, was smooth because he found a new way to go. A lovely trip over all and we got home at 11pm and I had FOOD.
I am praying you all have a safe trip. XO
Thank you. We have arrived safely and it is BEE OU TI FUL here. The sun streaming in the windows and a lovely smell of fresh air after the city’s smog.
They’re travelling again? They don’t let any grass grow under their feet, that’s for sure.
Well, they go back and forth, back and forth and guess who goes with them? One guess.
