Mama was just reading about Betty White, the actress we all adored. I am a bit shocked, as, to us, she always appeared so young!
So sorry to lose this beloved actress, such a Golden Girl.
A tribute to Betty White, who made us laugh for such a long time and made the world a bit brighter. Yet another laugh from us to you.
Well, Betty almost made it to 100. That’s what humor can bring to health, we think.
Au revoir, Amazing Ms White. We shall miss you, that’s for sure.
Betty White was an American treasure and a friend to all animals. She will be missed.
Yes, such a funny, funny lady. So talented.
Betty White really was “forever young” and such a wonderful actress….the most moving thing we’ve read about her passing was her final word was “Allen”…..her beloved husband – I’m sure he was right there ready to give her a welcome hug in heaven.
Love, Teddy
Oh, that is so touching. I didn’t know that…
What a star she was – one of my favourites. Humour adds years to a life, Loulou.
Yes, we try to laugh a lot around here.
Mamma thought she would live forever!! SO sad she died – BUT in her sleep – the best way to go. She had a wonderful life for sure! Going to Italie in the morning – so won’t be writing this weekend – BUT you 3 are always in our thoughts!!!
Just be VERY careful. This thing is not going away at all in your area.
Someone must have changed my words!!!! I didn’t die in my sleep!
Don’t know anything about that! Did you write that somewhere?
I admire all the work she did for animals. I enjoyed her comedy work too. 🙂 XO
Yes, a wonderful advocate for animals. It seems that people with good hearts do that easily!
Yes – she was truly an AMerican Original. And a good person who advocated for animals !
And she was just so very funny along with her wonderful cohorts!
We loved her too and I’ve seen every episode of The Golden Girls. Such a fun show and Betty White made it even better.
Have a fabulous Thankful Thursday. ♥
It’s always sad to lose such a wonderful actress especially one who can make people feel so good.
Years ago, Betty White was in a commercial for a candy company, which first aired during The Super Bowl. It was surprising and hilarious, and I loved how irreverent she was. Her January 17th birthdate is a day for folks to donate to animal charities.
What a wonderful thing to know and we should certainly do that on the 17th and thank you for letting us know!
Such a loss, she was so unique, funny and loved animals – she will be missed. Love that photo today LouLou!
Well I often lie up in bed with mama when she’s reading and she was reading to me about Ms White and how she made the world laugh.
Betty White was such fun to watch and she will surely be missed by so many. Thanks for joining our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
Oh we love the thankful Thursday blog hop Brian and I are so happy to join whenever we can.
