I am so miffed at this weather. I can’t go outside. I can’t run around in the garden. FIE on winter!
Boy, those weather-makers sure know how to screw up a kitty’s life! For three days we had full sun in every room and mama cut kiwis and Frederic our helper cut lemons and papa got enchanted as the sun came through our windows after lunch and just sat there in Nirvana. But today, AWFUL pouring cold miserable rain, the open market rained out, mama couldn’t shop for any nice fresh things and we are all chilly even with the heat on because it’s so humid and soggy.
And the WIND. I almost wrote ‘wine’. Hey not a bad idea, but of course I don’t get any of that ever. Anyway, I’m not really in the mood to be positive and cheerful but I CAN give you lots of ideas about how to arrange your body in various Sleep Yoga positions in hopes of waking up to SUNLIGHT and WARMTH!
Or just plain old, Snooze With A Mouse type thing….
But with sadness I keep thinking about those kitties out in this storm, hiding under cars and trying to find a warm place to sleep and I just want to cry. There is a great organization in this little town that tries to tag kitties and get them neutered and address health issues, but it’s so hard just finding the feral kitties. Maybe the technique of that Fire Kitty lady—socks dipped in mackerel juice! That still gives me a real tickle. So smart, that lady.
Well, nighty night to the wind and rain. I’m clocking out for some winks, whatever they are.
Loulou, I got a kitty yoga book in my Christmas stocking from Grandma. Maybe you could paw (write) your own yoga book and include all your lovely yoga poses?! That would be pawsome & you could sell it on Pawmizon (Amazon) or Petsy (Etsy). Kisses!
I don’t know Petsy Itsy Kisses. Will do some research, and thank you, Valentine.
Aaaaaaaaaw LouLou, you are so adorably cute. We just hate the cold and thinkin’ ;bout those poor kitties out in it. We purray hard they find somehwere warm to shelter and that someone feeds them. Big hugs and stay warm.
Luv ya’
Dezi and Raena
could always be worse! This is our first day out of the teens (and sub teens) for over 12 days! Suck it up buttercup!
BRRRRRRRRRR
We’re sorry about your awful weather, Loulou. We hope it improves. Here the cold is finally going away…or at least some of it…it’s still kinda cold but not the bone-chillin’ stuff that we had. Enjoy your snooze!
Well, Loulou, we are lucky to have a nice warm abode – and comfy cushions – which you make great use of! We had lots of wind yesterday and looks like today too – and heavy rain. At least you have an INDOOR toilet!! Papa will walk me in the rain (ugh) so i can do my thing(s) – which i will do in record time!! Is this what they mean by “it’s a dog’s life” ?
Oh, Mya it’s a Dog’s YEAR!!!
Loulou, I share your concern for the poor homeless animals, who have to fight for shelter, for food, not to mention cuddles.
Needless to say, all my little companions (five of them now as I lost one in October) are rescue cats and dogs.
And contrary to what some people think, caring for animals does not mean one doesn’t care for “anthros”.
On a lighter tone, I have a potted lemon tree and my harvest amounts to SIX beautiful fruits, enough for a bottle of Limoncello.
Take care, Loulou.
How wonderful to have a potted limoncello plant!!!
I love all these photos of you. I am miffed at the weather too, it got to -21F last night. XO
OH, F. I thought you had 20C….20F. Is COOOOOOOLLLD.
sleeping positions are very important for comfort, loulou. keep practicing.
Mama wishes she could get herself into these comfortable poses. But I think I just heard her say “Ouch!”
Sleep tight LouLou ! It got up to 20 F here today !
WOW, you lucky lady!!!
