Post nip?
Whether to talk about weather, yet again? We have really HIGH winds that are bending the trees almost halfway down and mama finds it not so easy to garden as her hat keep ending up in the neighbor’s yard!
Today visitors come for two days and have brought, they hint, wine from Portugal…mama is going to cook up something to go with it so that’s one of today’s projects, after a drawing class this morn that mama started taking again after a hiatus, whatever that is.
A way to keep sane, drawing, cooking, planting spring seeds, watching the birdies feed on their birdballs…what can one do, mama asks, except divert one’s addled brain from NEWS?
I, on the other side, divert myself, by meadering whenever I like among the plants, and the NIP is coming up nicely. Even in my altered state, that nip is still nummy! I think my taste buds are keener than ever, haha. Or nosebuds?
And tomorrow is an historic day…you will see…
Oh you sweet Angel, if only you knew how cute you are with your paws up high

More Pawkisses just for you

Merci, you sweet kitties. I watch your antics from afar and they tickle me.
I bet dinner is going to be something very tasty!
Will report but mama and papa love SIMPLE…say a pound of caviar, haha haha…gone are those days….it’s probably going to be pasta!!!
High winds aren’t good but wine from Portugal and pretty tomato plants and Mom cooking ARE good!
Hugs, Teddy and Mom Pam
We did have a nice visit, well, THEY had a nice visit with friends from Nevada…sweet people and they new me for a long time and still think of me as I do them.
Chop wood, carry water, and be grateful for every single blessing.
LOVE that. YES YES YES we thank daily for our abundance of blessings, you included!
We love that picture of you LouLou ! We had terrific winds last week – not tornadoes, thank God, just high sped regular old winds. A lot of things ended up in neighbors’ yards.
HAHA, like mama’s hat! Luckily it’s close by…
I bet your mama will make something delicious. I am glad she is taking her art classes again> XO
Oh, boy, is she ever glad for those classes. Such a good decision after Covid hiatus and more…
Weather is always a good way to open a conversation, to get the feel of the atmosphere as it were…
We have drizzle here today, but tomorrow we might have severe weather…and while it’s 62F here right now the forecast for Monday it’s about 37F! Whoa!
We watch bidries, too and all the prettiness of the evolving spring. Yup, and cooking, or blogging!
Oh, you two, you give us such joy, even I am in love with you two, even if you ARE doggies….
Wine AND nip sounds like a darn good party!
